I want to capture analogue/video from a camcorder and TV as well as digital, and burn onto DVD, I'm not too bothered about all the editing software etc but I don't want to lose any quality. Can someone recommend a suitable capturing card, I'm getting baffled by them all and most seem to include alot of expensive software that I don't want which drives up the price. I'm prepared to buy a firewire card if need be, or will USB 2 tranfer rate do?

Go to:

http://www.pinnaclesys.com/

There are hardware and software you need. The "MovieBox" is very good.

Another site to look for is:

http://www.inventa.com.au/

(I live in Australia!) It has articles about video capture cards.
