Video and Audio desync in SVCD

Could anybody help me with my issue - SVCD created from DVD (music clips) has very strange property - after skipping to the each next chapter audio and video have desynchronization (app. 1 sec) which disapeared in 10-15 seconds, BUT if you will go to the beginning of any chapter w/o skipping (f.i. ordinary playing) evrything will be OK. I feel that the problem is in padding stream but I could not solve it. It is very strange to me because I have some experience of using DVD2SVCD (app. half of a year, using tmpg (since 2.53) and cce (since 2.50)), most issues before (f.i. audio shift with LPCM sound, wrong aspect ratio in1 chapter, lost index for the last chapter, wrong chapters at all) have been overcome by me, but NOW I really do not know what to do.

What do you create from DVD2SVCD, an MPG file or Cue/Bin files? Then what do you burn them to CDR with? I would recomend making cue/bin files and burn then with VCDEasy for problem free DVD Player playback. If your using Nero, thats where the problem lies.

I am creating SVCD disk using DVD2SVCD 109b3. I also know that Nero is buggy but beforehand I did not have such a problem. More that dozen different DVD converted into SVCD (cue/bin) and burned with Nero without problem. So, I think the problem is not in Nero. But ok, I will try to do it with BlindWrite

As I said, Nero is to flakey, works sometimes, not others. Please try VCDEasy, its designed to burn cue/bin (S)VCD files. BlindWrite is like Nero, its a general purpose burning program not designed specifically for movie cue/bin files.

OK, I will try. For sure the problem lays somwhere in other place. As I explained above the same case I have had while trying to make one trick while converting with DVD2SVCD. The trick was to change aspect ratio in last chapter. I have done it the following way: 1st I have converted it 4:3, then 16:9. Then I cut the last piece of BBmpeg_muxed_file.mpg and pasted it to another. So, with TMPG I have got the EFFECT, with DVTolls - ok. By the way, strange, that there are no links to VCDEasy at main site search.
