Hi
i purchased the programme about three weeks ago now and am now comfortable stripping a dvd.
but havent successfully split one yet the problem i get is the second dvd will freeze at the same time on the second disc. I have the main vts split on both disks and the other vts are duplicated on both discs.the complete menu item list is also on both discs
Am i right in thinking its a problem with the menu item list selection i have set for the second disk?
is there a guide for splitting dvd?
btw the source is a PAL DTS superbit dvd

is this your first attempt at a split?

when you say you are splitting the VTS, do you mean the titleset which is all the VTS_0x_x.VOB's or the movie title in the Title Selector?

Am i right in thinking its a problem with the menu item list selection i have set for the second disk?

is there anything that plays before the main feature that is on the 1st disc but not on the 2nd?

are you stripping menu's on the 2nd Disc?. You must be really careful when stripping menu's as it can easily affect the DVD playback

yes mackemx its my first attempt at a split.
yes i have split the main movie vts on both disks
all other vts are duplicated on both
the menu is left intact same on both disks

I'm just thinking that if you are splitting using the VTS then maybe the VTS is not a single title VTS. It may need part of that VTS to be on the 2nd disc

are you using a software player to check the 2nd disc when it's freezing and if so which player are you using?, or is it freezing in your standalone?

do you know how to use Ifoedit to see how many PGC's there are in the main movie IFO?
