VCD making - How to capture Timestamp from DV camcorder

Hello
I want help in making a VCD from my JVC DV Camcorder. I use the Ulead Vedio Studio 8.0 and when I am capturing the vedio from camcorder using the IEEE 1394 bus , the timestamp is not getting captured.
Please tell me what change is necessary either in Camcorder or Ulead s/w which will allow me to get the timestamp on the .MPEG files.
