OK,
I've just bought Roxy easy cd creator 6, not opened yet because im thinking about returning it after reading all the bad reviews. Yet, Nero 6 has tons of bad reviews too. Can any one, offer an alternative? that really works, and, that is easy for an (let me stress) "AMATURE" to use? All im wanting to do is burn several small videos from my digital camera, and add some music to it.
Ive downloaded trial NEro 6, not working. By the way i dont know if it matters but im using windows xp.
any help is appreciated..

NERO 5.5.9.0 works fine just make sure you do not let it convert any video files i use it to burn mpeg/mpeg2 to vcd and svcd with no problems so long as i dont let nero try convert the files :)

follow our tutorials in the vcd/svcd/dvd section for avi/video conversions with various programs and feel free to ask more questions to our resident GURUS there who are only too glad to answer questions on their specialist subjects :)

Of course you can just burn your AVI to a CDR, just about any burning program can do that. But unless you want to play them on a DVD Player (only 2-3 models will play AVI's directly with some sucess) then you MUST convert them to MPEG form. Nero can also do that for you but the quality it produces is the poorest posible. If that is what you have been doing, do yourself a favour and read the AVI to VCD/SVCD or DVDR Tutorials on how to do it easy and with great results.
