v8 challenge

i have just installed xp pro and cannot get ea sports v8 challenge to work on it. Can anyone help?

Hi

Is it a new game or an older game, if it older try the compatability feature in XP, just install the game & then go 2 the folder U installed it 2, then right click on the main game exe file & select properties, then the compatability tab & then try it with the different settings there 2 see if it runs

Thanks , was a game that ran ok with 98 , i did try the compatability tab
from the screen shortcut but it just hangs and does not open.

Well I run XP and have v8 working fine, Did you update any drivers when you installed XP?

If you want to play old games you could try installing both Win98 and XP, then you can use win98 for the oldies.

Replied to you a cupla months ago with same prob. Well i've just reformatted my H/D & now V8 challenge plays great. Dunno what the original cause of it not working was though.
