uxtheme.dll problem

I have patched to the 1106 uxtheme.dll. Now my Sp1 keep on displaying "a system file has been replace, please insert the cd to restore the system file" something like that. how to avoid that annoying screen everytime my computer is boot up?

I have heard of i could disable windows file protection, but how?

Is there any better way other than disable windows file protection totally?

replace your update to uxtheme.dll here --> C:\WINDOWS\system32\dllcache

Backup your system before modifying...I am not responsible if your system goes pear shape .....

Another curious problem:

Had patched uxtheme.dll on "old" XP, then upgraded to SP1 and afterwards applied new patch for uxtheme.dll.

Now everything is skinned except Startmenu & bar?!?

Any suggestions?
