using tmpgenc dvd author.probs with (s)vcd files.

hi .


im using tmpgenc dvd author.

on certain (s)vcds i get either errors.

1)video sequence header incorrect.
2)wrong resolution .

any fixes for the above.

It all depends on how & what the original VCD's were made with, that is, encoder, settings, muxer, cutter, etc. Even though they end up as VCD's (or SVCD) and they playback fine, itdoesnt mean every aspect (headers, etc) are fully compliant.

Try De-muxing the (S)VCD first with TMPGEnc and then Re-mux togther again with MPEG-VCR. Then load them into TMPGEnc DVD Author.

hi.

video sequence header incorrect.someone mentioned
about patching the file.im not sure if this is just a svcd
file.

if i try de-muxing will i end up with the A/V out of sync.
can i change the resolution with tmpgenc.the ones i have
are using ntsc 480x480.

I was refering to the 2)wrong resolution error.
