Hi there,im new to this forum and have a few problems i hope some of you's can help with.I have been burning for a while now and have over 400 back ups,i am using shrink 3.2 to rip and nero6 latest updated version to burn.I have a packard bell laptop with a pioneer 107D external burner. Now the problem is,is that if i connect the burner via a firewire connection all is well and i can rip/burn with no problems,BUT if i connect via usb2 as i did in the begining then i can rip fine using shrink BUT get SCSI command aborted error message when trying to burn!!I have tryed dvddecypter to burn and that fails to burn as well.I have been reading as much as i can in other forums and have come to the conclusion that this is a usb2 problem and not a software i.e nero problem. My burner is an ide device and in the device manager it is recognised as a usb device. What i have worked out is that nero gives out an SCSI command and because my burner is not an SCSI device it doesnt send a response thus giving SCSI command aborted.PLEASE,PLEASE,PLEASE could somene help me to resolve this problem as i want to use usb2 and not firewire and plus this is driving me MAD!!
