unreadable sector at end of nero ISO burn

Can anyone tell me why, when I burn (not create) an ISO from my HDD to my Lite-On 48x12x48, the last sector always shows as unreadable with Nero Speed Disk, Scan Disk test? If I use other programs to do burn from the same ISO there is no unreadable sector. Yes, I know, "If it works with other programs, why are you using Nero." I am just curious. What might be happening? - -cadjak

Where is the "verify" option. I have been through Nero a couple of times and it is escaping me. It must be in my version (5.5.9.14) because the help file refers to it, ("you must check the 'Verify written data' checkbox in the burning process status dialog box.") Can anyone give me dumbed down directions to find the "verify" check box?

The unreadable sectors were found by running the Nero CD Speed utility on disks in my Asus 50X CD-ROM drive.

Once you have completed your compilation and are ready to burn, you get to the burning stage where you can check the "verify" box as well as "close down the system" or some such.
It is the very last stage when you are ready to burn.

Next time you burn an ISO with nero, use the "verify" option.
sorry poko, there is no verify function in Nero, when burning an existing ISO;
the check box is only existing while burning individual data, not when you burning a completed ISO;

Thanks Duracell,
I was starting to think I was nuts or very stupid, not finding the verify box. I'm going to see what CD Check has to say about two different burns. One with the unreadable sector and one without it.

Sorry about this! I should have reread your original msg but only read the last one about not finding the verify option which is not present when burning an ISO or image.
