Trying to remove Gear Pro Professional edition 6.02
from Windows XP pro.
Using add or remove programs from Control panel.
I Click on change/remove then confirm file deletion.
Uninstall starts then a window pops up: With the following.
The GEARAspiWDM entry in the UpperFilters values was not removed.
Please remove the entry from the value the cdrom class manually before uninstalling the application.
click OK
Next screen: pops up:
The GEARAspiWDM entry in the UpperFilters values was not removed.
Please remove the entry from the value the tape class manually before uninstalling the application.
I click OK
Sent back to remove programs:
Problem originated: When I started Gear Pro, a window pops up, cannot open the CD-R Interface selected interface type not supported, and cannot open hard disk interface. The selected recorder interface is GEARAspi driver (cyclic buffereing). I figured I would uninstall and reinstall to see if the problem went away. But can't do either, when I try to install it complains there is a version of Gear Pro on and needs to be removed before installation.
Any help would be appreciated as to how to uninstall the program. Or even to reinstall the same version.
Thanks
