Unable to download unlock key from Pinnacle

Hi all, I am a Newbie to the forum, but hope I may receive some help.

I downloaded the trial version of InstantCopy v8 using my regular email address as an ID. When I attempted to puchase the unlock key, Pinnacle would not accept my regular email address in the personal details page,(said it was already registered to another user) so I opened a Hotmail account to complete the details.

Everything worked okay until I tried to download the unlock key when I recieved an error message advising me to go back and check details. I did twice. and made minor changes to try and correct the situation, BIG MISTAKE, I noticed later every time I made a change I was charged again. I have now paid for three copies of the unlock key and received nothing.

I tried to contact Pinnacle using the email address given on their order confirmation email only to receive a reply saying it was not being used any more and I should phone, (I live in Australia), or use a different option following use of the 'Buy' button. I was unable to find the different option, but was just taken back to the page where I could repeat the whole thing again.

I contacted Pinnacle Support three weeks ago but have received no reply as yet, and any emails to their sales are not being delivered.

I wonder if anyone else has had this problem, and if so, were they able to get around it?

Thanks for your patience,
Renno.

Hi renno, Welcome to our forum! :)

i never bought any key online; most times i bought retails in a local store or bargains in online shops;

but i think you should contact your bank / credit card assoc. too and tell them this was not a valid transaction/deal;

Yes,unforunate.Thanks for sharing though.I agree with contacting the financial institution,and/or photocopying records and mail them to Pinnacle.Pinnacle,and their registration system seems to be at fault.

Okay here's how it went,

I made the call to Pinnacle and was pleasantly surprised to find the cost of the call was less than a call made from my private phone to my cell phone on the same day, and the call I made was at International rates.

The fellow I spoke to at Pinnacle was on the ball and said I would have a reply in a day or two. Next morning I had an e-mail giving me a new site to download the program from and advising me arrangements would be made to refund the cost of the duplicate payments

The program I downloaded required a serial number to install. I received that within thirty minutes of my request for a number.

The Pinnacle rep. did say there was a problem with the site and that was being rectified. I'm still have a problem trying to register the program with Pinnacle. They still say my ID is registered to another person and I suppose another phone call will be needed to rectify that.

The main thing is, the program is now installed and working.

Renno.
