I have a LG DVDRAM GSA-4040B with firmware version A301. The Drive should be able to burn cdr, cdrw, dvd-r, dvd-rw, dvd+r, dvd+rw and dvd-ram. It burns cds, RAM and dvd-r no probs. I purchased a pack of JVC DVD+RW's just to burn films onto so I could watch on my home DVD player, and burn over when I had watched it. However with both Nero 6.3.1.15 and neoDVD (came with the burner) I can’t successfully burn a dvd+rw. I tried with a film first in neoDVD - it encoded and then started to format. Pc just froze. Left it for an hour or so, when I came back to it nothing had happened since I left it, so I rebooted. I tried to format manually in Nero but couldn’t find an option to format (mite not be looking in the right place - any hints?). I then tried burning data to the disk - a 20mb file through Nero, and no joy. It formats, says it’s successful and then tells me it’s an illegal disk 
Tried to burn data to a new disk, still got the same. Nero log file is attached.
Any help is appriciated!
