ulead movie factory no audio

hi,
I have just converted an avi file (700MB) to dvd using ulead movie factory which works apart from about 3 quarters into the film when the sound goes. Does anyone have any clues on this as it is strange the vob files are fine untill 3 quarters into the film.If anyone can help would be grateful.I also have cucusoft and this works fine,the only think it takes double the time.And then you have to merge audio and picture together again.Ulead does everything in one go.I cannot be the only person with this porblem anyone HELP!

Thanks for welcome nice being part of it all.
The thing is it's not backing up it's converting Avi to dvd using ulead movie factory.Worked good at begin of film then sound is lost 3 quarters of the way through film.Want to make own films not backing up so don't really know what is going on.Hope someone out there is getting same problem so knows how to correct fault.
