I've read the following:
The DVD Workshop 1.2 Update Patch provides current version 1.0 registered users with a number of new features and program fixes. This update includes:
Multiple Aspect Ratio/Bit-Rate support - Mix existing, DVD compliant MPEG files with different aspect ratios (16:9, 4:3) and/or bit rates without the hassle of re-encoding. Maintain the qualities of your source video.
Enhanced MPEG.Now™ encoding - The latest release of the MPEG.Now™ codec makes both DV-to-MPEG capture and file transcoding faster than ever. Benchmark results with a Pentium 4 processor show up to a 59% improvement in capture speeds over the previous version for DV-to-MPEG direct capture.
LPCM audio support - Author DVD titles with uncompressed LPCM (Linear PCM) audio for high-quality sound and broader set-top player support.
DVD+R support - Adds DVD+R to existing support for DVD+RW and DVD-R/RW to provide the widest in compatibility.
Improved burning performance - Save time by writing directly to DVD without first creating a temporary disc image.
For a complete list of the upgrade features, see the What's New for Version 1.2 PDF.
Is this available somewhere ?
Thanks.
