Another work round to this problem I found was to extract to contents of TU2004TrialEN.exe to a temp folder.
There after locate instmsi file within the temp folder double clip onto it to instsall,
let it do its thing and reboot system.
Now you should be able to install the TU2004TrialEN.exe with no problems (found this to work on my Win 98 PC)
There after you can delete the temp of the extracted files...
Good luck,
:)

Cheers jasmin & RASTABT :)

It installed & working now (uninstalled 2003 version, then installed that MSI cleanup thingy, ran it deleted an old java install (nothing was listed for Tune-Up), ran the 2004 install & it went on perfect, so thanks to U both buds :)

Glad to see it has the registry defrag tool now, used that all the time on 98se, but when i moved to XP, it doesnt get installed :)
