True Crime + Tony Hawks Underground?????????

I'm having real problems backing up my copies of these 2 games my specs are as follows
Pioneer 106 firmware 1.05 i think
Dvd Decrypter 3.1.6.0
Recordnow Max 4.5 and 4.6
Bulkpak orange and unbranded possibly ritek media
Burn goes ok but games will not work
Ps2 chipped with Neo 2.2 i think (i have to use AR2 and disk swap method)

What am i doing wrong all my other games have worked fine, SSX3 NBA 2004, Pro Evo 3 etc etc.

Any help guys?????

Actually, the Neo 2.2 can boot DVD backups.

I would suggest trying some different media.

I have that same problem occasionally myself. I use one type of disc normally - 99% of the time works perfectly for PS2/DVD backups, however if a PS2 backup does not boot on my v5 PAL with Messiah, I re-burn the backup onto a Traxdata 1X (god bless them :)) DVD-R and it works perfectly.

So your thinking it could just be a media problem or are these gasmes just not copyable if thats a word!!!

is it worth buying some expensive branded media for these tricky games if so what do you recommend i buy from www.blankdiscshop.com in the UK

I've recently had a similar problem myself. Backed up my FIFA 2004 onto Datawrite Classic 1x (Yellow) and the game boots but takes ages to load, then during gameplay it frequently skips. These DVD-R's I normally have no problems with for most of my other PS2 DVD backups. I re-burnt the game onto a Traxdata DVD-R and it plays perfectly :)

I would recommend the site you said about, I used to purchase a lot from either them or bigpockets.

Hi guys i'm back and still having trouble with true crime!!!!

I got myself some Datawrite classice yellow......burned prince of persia using recordnow DX....it works fine!!!

Tried to backup true crime.....no good

What am i doing wrong???????

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
