Troubles with VBR at Lame

The Razor Lame cuts me the ends of songs at VBR. Is it usual ?

No...what version of Lame do you use??

I had to drop back to V 3. 92. If you're on the most recent version
try V 3.92, it may cure your problem.

Do a search on Google for Lame 3.92 and go to the 6th one down on the returned results, pick a server nearest to you and I hope cures your problem.

3.92 or Dibrom's compilation of 3.90.2 are the best Lame variants currently. The dibrom one to be ound at Hydrogen Audio forums.

In fact, I am a Linux user and I am on 3.92 which I compiled myself out of the 3.92 sourcecode... using configuration switches according to the Dibrom standards. It was a real pain to compile it, but IMO worth the effort (most Lame RPM's one can find at rpmseek.com are simply bad).
