hi i am new to this i got pioneer 104a dvd-rw and it plays dvds alright and cds fine.and with nero i could copy and burn the image and then it started play fine but when it got to the movie it was scrambled then it went to a black screen but i still had audio.any suggestions would be great.

Nero is for copying DVDR's only or burning them. Most silver/gold pressed DVD's are encrypter. While some can be copied to the HD, the encryption does not make it playable and will come out all scrambled as you say. You MUST first rip the DVD to you HD first with DVD Decrypter or SmartRipper first.
Suggest you have a readup in the Tutorial section on how it can be done successfully. All require a DVD to HD rip first.
