I have file Band.Of.Brothers.EP01.Currahee.DVDRiP.SVCD.SWESUB-HBS which to me indicates that this is already a svcd file but when i burned it it doesn´t play in my dvd. I recently bought a dvd that plays both svcd and vcd. Is tis file really a svcd or do i need to convert it in any way. Do you need any more information?

It means that its eitherr bad svcd or your player wasnt compatible..maybe bad media too...do some more tests..In the meantime check the rules of this forum

You have a file, with a name that suggests it is not something you own, therefore we cannot help.

If you downloaded it from P2P filesharing, it could be a bad file put there by those acting on behalf of the authorities, just to waste your time.
