My burner cannot read any blank cd I inserted. What maybe the problem? Anyone can help me..
Does the drive detect a full CD? Then it's recognised by the operating system OK; cables are connected, etc.

A blank disc isn't usually 'read' as it has no data yet - you can just see its properties/available space. Have you tried using your burning software's (what is it?) Disc Info (Nero) function. That will tell you if the disc has been detected.

hi pal welcome onboard ;)
1st of all wat cdr r u using?verbatim,imation,melody...?
normally a blank cd cant be read since its empty...do u mean that when u insert r cd,the yellow leb 4 write isn't on?
2ndly wat proggie r u using?i recommend using either recordnow max or burnatonce(free) from www.burnatonce.com
3rdly can u give more details?
i have the same burner & haven't really encountered such a problem,the only time was that the cdr was already busted ;)

if you try to say your burning software do not recognize the blank media, then disable CloneCD's or Alcohol's "Hide Media" function;
