Trouble playing MPEG2 Program Streams

How do I play .m2p, .m2v etc files? When I open them in WINDVD I get the following message.

No Valid Drive/Disc found.

Do I require any additional codecs to play this type of file? I can play any SVCD .mpg file, just not .m2p, .m2v etc.

Thanks.

Hmm... I have no probs with m2p or m2v file playback with WinDVD 4. Try the Denexo trick and rename them to *.MPG (which they are)

Your learning too. :D
Of course, learning every day but not from you m8. You see, an m2v file IS an MPG. An audio mp2 is the same as mpa, etc. Its just a DAT file is NOT an MPG, but you havent learnt that yet.

lol.

Have you also tried playing the content on another PC (someone elses) to see if they have the same issues?

Could be a damaged file/disc or one that doesn't meet the particular standard format.

Anyhow,
good luck.
