troubble whe watch a dvd shrinked..

Hi everybody! well...i aways look this forum but never register..so here is my question..

i normaly shink my dvd backups with dvd shrink 3.5 beta.....the new ones aways get protection copy error..,well...when i go watch the mouvie he freezes at least 6 sec....a lot of times douring the film...this keep me nervous..hehehe..whats is going on? how can i resolve this problem?

i use:

shrink 3.5b
nero enterprise edition
LG super Multi DVD writer

well the media is Dr Hank...anyone know that mark??

IS this normal media ya use ? best to find media that works for u and stick with it .... use dvddecrypter to demacro the movie to hd first then use dvdshrink could be the answer ... but most likely the media ya using ..

As far as i know they are junk media, made (or just stamped?) somewhere between Brazil and Paraguay. Might serve well as beer coasters, but hardly more than that.

yes..i think you both are corret..but the strange is some dvd of the same mark dont show this problem....about dvd decripter and shrink...i have to decript the dvd and put the files in dvd shrink?..

about media change..is dificult...i dont have much choice here in my town..

Trouble watching copies made with shrink

I also have been having freezing problems with various DVD+R media.
Almost evey 2 out of 5 copies made do not seem to copy the whole movie.
I've been using Fuji, Maxell and Sony DVD+R black media, each have worked for the most part in the past.

Again, about evey 2 out of 5 copies made will work fully.
I do not use Decrypter or at least haven't been (I do have it though).
I've always just used DVDShrink 3.2 to do it all (w/Nero 6).

Help please.

DVDShrink can handle most older copyprotections,but the changelog of the latest DVDDecrypter shows an interesting option;

'Added: Support for different/newer types of 'structure protection'

So if you want to backup your recent stuff,it's a good idea to use DVDDecrypter.....
