track markers in MP3's

Hi all,

I've been given an album by my mate and its a single MP3 because its a live album.

What I want to know is there a simple way of marking the tracks before I put it to CD so when its in a CD player all the tracks are visible. I have the New Nero 6.0 Ultra Edition.

If you want to build an audioCD then the conversion to .wav is mandatory, so any good audio editor can do the job (in fact even a bad one, like the Nero6 audio editor). If you want to build an MP3 disk then spiltting without converting is the wise thing to do (else you will lose some quality), and the best tool is the one suggested by lore.

Not loaded Nero 6 yet, but under Nero 5.5, you could add track breaks by:
Rightclick, properties, Indexes limits splits
You can play, stop, and SPLIT (create a track break), and you can drag the break positions as well, or click to set the position to play from or break at.

If they lost this in V6, I'll be very very cross!
