Total Commander and alike users

Hi m8s.

Is this still the best file manager app out there? I have worked so much with files the last month that I am ready to pay for the best app of this kind that can be found.
I do a lot of file comparisson and I am tired of going to command prompt and fc xx.xxx xx.xxx /b.

I have seen there are some others, like directory Opus, but I have heard very good recommendations of Total Commander in the forum that if it is still the best I am ready to pay, as I always do with the good and useful apps

I would like to hear also the contras from people that have maybe tried it and have not like it. I have heard comments about that it can be a little difficult to use at the begining, but I have been a Norton Commander user in the DOS times so I hope it doesn't eat my brain to much :)

Thanks a lot guys.

Up to date I have not found anything that can do one tenth of the things available under Total Commander. Only FAR Manager comes close, but FAR is rather a Windows Console on steroids- so you should forget drag+drop, looks etcetera.
