Toshiba's New 100GB 2.5-inch HDD

I did a quick search of the net and toshiba's site and no price as of yet. Plus they'll probably go to all the major manufacturers first before we can get our hands on one.

The drive is only 4200rpm though. Even though it offers greater capacity, it's going to be a performance hit compared to the Hitachi 60GB 7200rpm drive I'm using now.

Yeah there's going to be a big speed difference but, this drive is going to be for the people who just have to carry everything around with them on their hdd or don't read the specs and just buy it for the WOW factor. I'd rather have a 7200 rpm drive any day. If I need that much space I just carry my 120gb external.
