Hey, as i have been making dvd-r's from avi's for a while now, with nothing going wrong i thought i was doing everything right. However, the last couple that i have done, at the very final phase - 2 folders, video_ts and audio_ts - and after playing the video_ts.ifo file - although the picture and the sound are insync, the video is jerky. Not so big that its impossible to watch, but big enuogh that it starts to piss you off after a min or so.
The avi file plays fine. The muxed however does not and is jerky. The latest codex is installed, and firewall is always up. Spyware and addware scanned for every few days just to be on safe side.
My question is - Am i doing something wrong to get this effect ( the avi file is smooth ) or is it just the way that some will turn out like this? If the former is true, how can i remedy it? and for the later, is there anyway i can get it to produce a smooth output.
I use - dvd2svcd ---> ffmpeggui [sound] ---> tmpgencdvd ---> then try the video_ts.ifo file before nero.
Help would be much appreciated. Thank you.
