time code 01:00:00:00

with the latest dvd2svcd 1.1.3 build 2......when selecting CCE...on the rite hand side.....time code is preset to 01:00:00:00......should i reset it to 00:00:00:00?

i had just encoded a dvd....the audio file in winamp says it's 01:24:22.....the svcdinfo.txt says it's 01:24:21.....other ppl in different forums i visisted can't agree on this time code thingy

Yep, to many self proclamed experts unfortunately. I'm just a user who actually uses dvd2svcd with cce and the Timecode your talking about. Its been a lifesaver for me.

The timecode should be set to 00:00:00:00 only if your importing Chapters and/or Subtiles in Maestro (but isnt that everyone!!) (and maybe others) to author them. If you dont, then the Chapter points will be out by an hour and at wrong points. Same with subs as well., they will be way out of sync.

If your not doing any of this, then leave it at what ever you like. It really has nothing to do with the Audio stream time line and a 1 sec differnce in Audio is no likely to be a problem.
 
i was able to encode two movies with the original preset and one reset to 00:00.....all them were in sync....

well, off to tackle another encodin' problem
