the Vcd can't be open using windows media player in win98/winme after converted.

i have done all the step to convert dvd to vcd. for infomation, I convert mpeg to DAT using powercdr express. my problem is the vcd can not be open using window media player or other apllication. I,m using winme Os. but when i use windows media player in winXP, it can run. vcd player also does not have a problem to run this vcd. can anybody tell me what the possible way to over come this. thanx.

WMP does not directly support playing VCD DAT files. When your browesing for the DAT file, make sure you have File Type set to All Files, then you can open it and it will play.
