The sims deluxe edition

I'm going to buy The sims deluxe edition this weekend. Have anyone tried sucessfully back up this version of the sims? Can it be done with lite-on 48x? And important what do you guys think of this version?

GOOD BUT NOT PERFECT

Yup I did make working backup copies of The sims deluxe edition using both cloneCD and Ddump. But the bad thing is I have to use hide cd-r trick in order to play these backup cds with cd burner (liteon 32X). I live in US so I have to re-install again with woody's trick (change region to cananda before installing clone). However Burnatonce 0.91 beta cannot burn this image made by Ddump so I have to use Nero 5.5.9x. And this test was done in my old system. I'm still having problem running Sims deluxe in my new system with AIW 8500DV (see another post).

Edit Post. Burnatonce works with image made by Ddump just have to change "iso" to "bin" before burning.

I backed up The Sims Deluxe Edition with my LiteOn 40x and Alcohol 120%. Made the image with the Safedisc 2 setting/profile. Created the image at Max speed and burned at 24x. Works great in every any CD-Rom drive I've tried so far. :cool:

Does your backup work with CD-Burner without hide cd-r trick, dxkim? if not then do you know any third party software that do this trick instead of CloneCD?
