New release for a very, very good but little known audio file manager.

# 04 Nov. 2003 Version 0.57

1. Query freedb using the Disk ID calculated automatically from the files or use the original CD-ROM.
2. Online enhancements : Artist filter for freedb's text search, composer can be parsed from AMG, credits list appears in a grid and can be automatically sorted, auto sort works a bit smarter, dummy rows can be removed all at once, CTRL_T also searches at AMG (first page only), quick edit dialog is available in the grid, and the files can be sorted using multiple columns.
3. Better support for mpc/ape files, option to preserve all ID3v2 frames upon saving, 100% compliant ID3v2 lyrics frame writing, user fields for mp3 files,
4. Filters for has pictures/lyrics can be defined, additional option for proper case to force case of special words/phrases, extra find duplicates parameter to use aggressive title field comparison, parameters for default playlist save format and ext. info content.
5. Full tag edit dialog is available in more grids and has a few enhancements, manual edit grid additional 'haslyrics' column and sort by multiple columns, editable grids have combo boxes according to fields being edited, Tag/Online grids support mark and del/paste to clear/paste a lot of cells at once, option to use synchronized scrolling,play panel changes, rename folder option in treeview.
6. Fixes ( Find duplicates does not include the same file in more than one result set, installer does not overwrite ini files by default, minor other things )

Looks nice-and bloaty like WMP9,Realone Player and QuickTime with I-Tunes.!.Is it "spyware" free...?

Looks can sometimes be deceptive- the whole program installer is just 2.5 megabytes, and no trace of ad/spy/shitware in it! It cannot burn, but it is much better/ eclectic than all the programs you have mentioned.

Updated to 0.58:
# 23 Nov. 2003 Version 0.58

1. FLAC files support using Vorbis comments.
2. LYRICS3 v2 support.
3. Custom names for review, credits text files, option to auto wrap review text file's lines, pop up menu command to auto search for album name at AMG.
4. Option to remove ID3v1/ID3v2 upon batch update, FLAC/ape files can be decoded to wav, option to clear filters on program start, support for tokens for styles %XS variable ( %XS[1..n] ),some enhancements in a few dialogs and status bar.
5. Fixes ( minor )
