Around a month ago I found Chicken Man's tutorial on converting DVD movies to SVCD and used it with good results. The only real variance I had to make from Chicken Man's tutorial was that I could never get any version of Cinema Craft Encoder to work on my computer (abended every time) so I had to use TMPGEnc which worked great. I suspect that Cinema Craft Encoder just has some issues running under Windows XP. My new computer running Windows XP will not run Cinema Craft Encoder successfully either.

Good to hear your making some good SVCD's using the tut.
I cant speak personly as I run Win2000, but many others run CCE under WinXP no problems at all. Try using another version other than 2.50 and use 2Link in Safe Mode Encoding in the Encoder Tab.
