textual web browser

can anyone of you suggest me a web browser tha allows me to browse the html pages viewing the html code instead of the visual page for windows platforms?
thanks for any suggestion.

If you use IE then go to "File" and then "Edit with" ......Notepad or Front Page or your choosen HTML editor.
This is to read the html code but not to browse the pages!

If you want a text mode browser (without all the fancy graphics,...) then I would recomend Lynx -

http://lynx.browser.org/
This supports cookies but you may see not be able to achieve 100% Javascript, Jscript, ... functionality.

However, if you want to use a browser where the html source is used for browsing instead of the generated HTML page, then I can't think of any :( In this case, you need to use the methods given by Denexo & Midnightangel to view the source.

Ye ol' unix trick is to telnet on port 80 (ex: telnet 10.1.1.1 80), then do HTTP GET (page.html).

That will do it.
