Does anyone know any link for the older firmware versions of the TEAC 40x Writer? I can only get the v1.0c, but I would like to have the v10a and v1.0b as well... If anyone knows any links or can attach the firmware, I would be greatful.
NewGen, not always the case. Some oldere firmwares allow you to get past some copy protections better (eg: Plextor 1.04 better than 1.05 in some cases)

Unforunately there is no older firmware for the TEAC at all out there. I hope the new firmware I got, will not make it loose any of the great features it's got. But for now all seems to be perfect and I'm glad for this
