syncn problem also what about subtitles??

i have to say that finally i did it with chickenmas tutorials, i did change a .avi to dvd it looks great, it sounds great but there is a little problem, the sound is a bit out of sync, how can i resync back ??? also my .avi has subtitles is there a way to burn them with the dvd????thank you guys again

The sync issue, convert the mp2 audio to AC3 with BeSweet GUI or AC3 MAchine. Then use AC3 Delay corrector to change the time offset and reload and compile. Or you can use Maestro to author and simply drag the audio asset to the right to delay it further.

As for subtiles, in DVD2SVCD, tick the Subtiles Tab for Subs to be ON. When you ready to start encoding and click the GO button, in the first window that pops up, there is an option to "Add External Subtitle Streams" and procceed from there. If the Subs are not in the right format, then there are lots of Sub converters around, doom9 site has many.

thanks chickenman

i will try that, but can you tell me what maestro ????sorry for my ignorance, and thank you again

Maestro is another Authoring software and was also made by Spruce Inc but is far more feature rich, but still very easy to use. Have a read of my DVD to DVDR tutorial (in DVD section) on how to use it.

ok the i have it...

but here is another question, i have done the process with the subtitle, and i am ready to go to authoring, on spruce, do i have to to the same things as before??? where do i put the subtitles??thanks again
