i have swap magic version 2 and silver PS2 (latest version i think.when i got my first silver ps2 and swapmagic cds ,cdr games work flawlesy everytime but my sucess with dvd games was bad

1.bulkkaq orange top...some games booted but loaded very slowly such as THUG and simpsons hit & run

since attempting my first backup a few moths a go a have regualry updated my firmware on my liteon 411s (pain in the arse of a drive) all discs have always been -r 4x although i have writen @ 2x a times with no improvement....i started copying with nero and then dvd decrypter. thenburning wiht nero. i also tried alcohol wiht no sucess.my last 2 backups have been with alcohol and bkindwrite..when copyied with nero or dvd devryter the have failed to boot. but do boot when copyied with alcho and blindwrite .......but then crash
a few weeks agop the cdtray on my ps2 jammed up and my replacement won play some backups that it did before..i havce used all avaible methods such as cdloader and swapfixes but to no avil...ive spent more on blank dvdmedia for coasters then u can imagine...what the hell is up with this
also i ahev tested my non wokring copies in an older back ps2 wiht the same results.its gotta be the copy method or media ...
