Swap Magic

So i Got the swap magic disc 3.0 for PS2 - its great !! - just one problem - the games I play comes up in black and white - i don't know if its an issue with the TV - i'm trying to play an import (PAL) game - everything works correctly, except this one issue - I still play it - just would love to have it in color - any ideas ? maybe incompatible versions ??? SOMEBODY HELPP !!!

I also have Swap Magic 3 and I have never had that problem. The first time I played a backup game was SOCOM. However ther was no sound. I was upset, but as long as it worked, I was OK with it. I later found out that the reason why there was no sound was because the RFU adapter I have is old. When I got a new one, the sound returned.
