1) Are There Any Games That CANNOT Be Played With Swap Magic, EVEN With Patches And SwapMagicFix.com? If So Any1 Have A List?

2) Does The Media You Use Have A GREAT Impact When Using Swap Magic?
Ex: Generic Brand Vs Ritek?
Also Any1 Know Where I Can Get A Decent Price On Good Media?

3) Is It True That Some Games When Burned With Certain Programs Will Not Work With Swap Magic?

I Backed Up FIFA 2004 With Alcohol 120% And It Works With A ModChip (On My Friends PS2), But Not With Swap Magic, And DVD Decrypter Works With Swap Magic With FIFA 2004.

I have swap magic disk with fliptop, thus far i have backed up
Socom (works fine with swap magic)
007 (needs cdloader)
Manhunt (works fine with swap magic)
Hitman Contracts (needs cdloader)
Kill switch (works fine with swap magic)

The media I use is Ritek go4 grade a
and burn with a Dvd decrypter
So far i have never had a coaster

It depends where u live, Im not sure if i can post web addresses in the forum so i wont, but may i suggest you do a google search for ritek go4 dvd-r.

I not sure what dvds your ps2 can read, but some will only work with dvd-r's

i think when i bought them they were about £17 for 25 ?

Hitman Contracts

i have recently burned baldurs gate2 and pro evo soccer3 using dvd decryptor they worked fine usind the dvd boot disc fliptop swap magic thingy but when i brought hitman contracts burned the usual way it didnt boot. i have not long read that it needs a cd loader, if it will help i need one but is that used in conjunction with the swap magic boot discs?

The Answer Is....

Yes, You First Use Ur Swap Magic CD Version, Then Place The CDLoader In Wait Til It Loads Then Place Ur Game

I Just Got CDLoader To Work I Dont Know What It Does But I Get It To Load Up And Read.

1st insert swap magic cd - step 1 loads the swap magic cd fine
2 insert cd loader - step 2 loads cd loader, but in spanish i think (To Make It English Look In The Top Right Hand Corner Of Screen, And Hit The Button That It Shows)
3 insert swap magic dvd - Press Triangle, Your CD Drive Should Open Up, Replace CD Loader With Swap Magic DVD, Hit Triangle Again.
An Error Message Will Now Come Up Saying "Error Reading Disc" Ignore That And Wait Until It Says To Hit The X Button. When It Does Hit The X Button, This Should Take About 15 Seconds Now The Screen Is Red Instead Of Its Normal Color. It Should Say Using EA Swap Method Enter A DVDR Base Game.
Open Ur Flip Top Cover Enter Ur Copied Game, And It Should Load.

REASONS FOR NOT LOADING:
Game Needs To Be Patched (EX: NHL2004)
If Its A Bad Burn, Or Bad Media Ur PS2 Will Say Error Reading Disc And Then It Will Refresh Itself And Go To The Red Insert A Real PS2 Game
