thanks for tutorial works great.i still need help with two queries
1 can i join the two svcd files i have made?
2 can i burn them on to a dvd recordable disk with nero?

!. yes u can no problem. Use tmpgenc to merge them.
2. That question is best asked in the dvd section. Many people have asked but after searching I cant find the answer.

I dont know if u can burn svcd to dvd on the fly.
I have limited knowledge of dvd burning.
I do not own a dvd burner!
Ask again in the DVD section.

There is a tutorial on this at w*w.doom9.org

You have to change the header of the svcd (temporarily), and remux the files etc.

Rather than muddy the waters, go take a peak.

No mate your doing just fine. Your input appreciated.

Billybird as angry said your SVCD files will need to be Authoured and the headers tricked. The reason being the width of the movie file being 480 as its not a DVD standard. But _www.doom9.net has all the answeres on how to do that.
