svcd-vcds anyone help is there a simple way

There is an all in one program that can do VCD and SVCD's. Its called DVDx latest version is 1.7 Quality of output is very average.

If you want to make quality (S)VCD's then I would suggest you try reading the DVD to (S)VCD Tutorial. Yes it uses 4 bits of software, one to rip DVD to HD, one to extract the audio file out, one to encode and split the mpg file, and one to burn it as a VCD. Its not really hard to follow, give it a try, as it will produce the best quality (S)VCD's that can be made.

The main page now offers version 1.8. I have not tested it since it is currently downloading...

just trying to post quality not quantity.....

dvdx 1.8

is 1.7 better than 1.8 have seen a vcd done with 1.7
quality was good using 1.8 myself but quality is very poor very
pixely

Its all in the settings. Sorry I cant really help you as I just dont use it. Its best output is still not good enough in my opinion. If I'm going to all the trouble of ripping a DVD I really want to do it the bets I can.

They have a tutorial posted on their home site, have a read of it.

WHere can I get the tutorials do do this? I copied a dvd onto my hardrive using DVD Decrypter and I have some vob files what do I do now?

DVDx works great for even me and my crappy slow puter :) takes forever for me but im not in a hurry to get the job done :)......... but even for a slow machine the results are more acceptable than some crappy vcd/svcds ive seen out there :)

I make VCD'S only as these are faster for a slow system than SVCD and they are still pretty good :)

but if you are a perfectionist or like quality like chucky man here and others then follow any TUTORIALS made by CHICKENMAN here > http://cdrbase.com/forumdisplay.php?forumid=120 for best results simmer for 20 mins on full power ..... erm no wait i er anyhow follow his tutes they ROCK :)

and are excellent /easy to do too :)

Look at the date of the post, almost a year and a half ago. Time moves on and so do the programs to use.

If you want a simple to use DVD to VCD or SVCD with great quality, then try EazyVCD from www.eazyvcd.tk Then when you want a bit better quality and prepared to do a little work yourself, check out my Tutes.
