how do i convert a quality svcd to a quality vcd i read chicken mans tutorial i am lost during step 2 can sumone plz make it easier to understand plz im downloading the movie its in bin and cue form thx

you've downloaded a cd image.
if u're sure its a svcd, then use winiso to extract the avi/mpg file out and then continue to follow chicken mans tutorials.

u can use a cd burning app to burn the image to cdr, something like nero or discjuggler or cdrwin would burn without much problems.

that doesnt work for me it only works if i burn the mpg and i need it to be vcd

Shadey is right. You can try WinIso or IsoBuster to extract the file and print ChickenMans tutorial. If it were me, I would simply burn the bin&cue file with FireBurner and see your results

@Bradleyko - mate i dunno what your stuck on? on chickenman's tutorials - step 2 - are u stuck on extracting the file or converting into the right format ?

WHY do you wan't to extract the bin&cue file? It's MUCH easier to burn the bin& cue file with FireBurner and have your results in 20 minutes

first of all ym ddv player cant play svcd so i need to convert and even if it were vcd format in bin and cue and i burned it ti would work it onyl works wheni burnt he mpeg do u ahev msn emssanger i need help with the tutorial plz

Bradleyko,
Are you simply trying to get this file and burn for your stand alone DVD player (home)? Or are you trying to convert this file so you can play on your PC DVD player? Once the file is extracted you can play the movie on your pc. Again, I would burn bin&cue with FireBurner then take that image and extract with IsoBuster or WinIso to eventually convert to vcd. This way you have an instant backup of that movie.

Bradleyko, load the BIN file into Isobuster (_www.isobuster.com), right click onto the AVSEQ01.MPG file and select "Extract but filter only M2F2 MPEG frames" and save to your HD.

This is basically Step 2 of the tutorial, but just open the BIN file with Isobuster and carry on from there.
