Welcome to the forum, hope you enjoy your stay.

The cheap and dirty trick is to demux the SVCD mpeg (with TMPGEnc) and then re-mux back but select VCD this time, not SVCD. Burn with Nero as a non-compliant VCD. Only works in a few DVD Players though.

To burn a cue/bin file, in Nero close all menus, in File select Burn Image and load in the cue file. Burn from there. Failing that, burn with VCDEasy. VCDEasy can make the cue/bin file for you as well as burn it. Read the DVD to VCD (using DVD2SVCD) Tutorial on how to use VCDEasy.

When you hit GO in VCDEasy, it makes a cue/bin file. If you elect to burn it also with VCDEasy then it continues to burn the cue/bin file. Check in Main window where it says BIN OUTPUT FILE, thats where its saved to.

when i burn the bin/cue it says there is insuffiecient space. im really gettin frusterated now...also after i convert the svcd to vcd the mpeg is still in mpeg2 format. will nero work better with this? and hwo do u burn vcds with nero..thanks

choose the vcd option and drag your mpg into the window.

apparently, nero isn't the best for vcd creation but i have no problems with using it for my vcd creation in my standalone.
