Svcd to DVDR?????

i have a load of movies that are svcd ,and i use
ulead Workshop to author the svcd and burn it on dvdr ,but it takes about 5hrs ,is this right?? as ulead converts the video and audio ..

is there an easy way to sort the speed out

Ulead is re-encoding then and not re-encoding them at best quaility either.

Yes they can be re-authored with out any re-encoding though the audio will have to converted from 44.1khz to 48khz. Do a search on the forum for SVCD2DVDMPEG, its a program that takes all the wory out of SVCD conversions to DVDR.
