SVCD to DVD Help

I have been converting SVCD to DVD a lot lately using SVCD to DVD to patch the header, demux and resample the audio then I would author in Maestro repatch the headers in the VIDEO_TS folder and burn with Stomp. These played perfectly in various DVD players. Recently though I get problems loading certain files into Maestro, generally temporal GOP out of sequence. I have tried a few things to try to repair them but nothing seems to fix them. This has led me to try DVDLab which seems to author the files without checking them but when I repatch the headers and burn, the first movie will play fine but the second movie shows all the signs that its not patched (only the left of the picture and pixelation). I have checked the files and they all appear to be patched back to 480. Also on one DVD player the main menu appeared to have a large grey area on one side.
Any advice on where I'm going wrong or how to fix these files would be appreciated as I'm pretty stumped.

Hi Bill.

Found this tutoriol.

Try this method of converting SVCD2DVD, alot quicker than the method trhat you have been using, and it has worked on every DVD player that i have tried it on.

Sorry had to remove tutoriol as I cannot remember where I got it from and cannot give credit to its author.

Sorted, Hope this helps.

Thanks for the advice though I take it this method gives you an auto-play disc with no menu's. I really need a way to author these files so that I can add menus and also so that a three part SVCD will play continuously without having to individually play the files. Is there a way to correct these files? Also its bugging me why when I repatch the headers and burn that the first film is fine and the second is not. Oh well.
