SVCD to AVI to resize

I Encoded Movie with DVD2SVCD and it is the wide movie 2:3:1 i want it back to a full screen movie ,i used Vidomi to convert back to avi,but when i viewed it the orginal svcd disk was 795mb and the new avi was 400 something what gives here is there a better way to do this change over.

Yep thats right. DivX AVI's are always a lot smaller than SVCD's as DivX uses higher compression than the mpeg2 stream does in the SVCD.

Will your conversion work the same as this is a PICVideo MJPEG original avi and when i used Vidomi i did not see it show up in options for codec or compression all that was there was Divx 5.02 in which i used and quality not as good.
