SVCD Question

I have recently made a beautiful quality SVCD and found out that the DVD player I wish to play it on doesn't support SVCD, only VCD.

I have read somwhere in ChickenMan's tutorials that you can actually fool a DVD player to think that a SVCD is just a plain old VCD.

I would like to know how this is possible and is it really worth it, or should I delete this SVCD and create a lesser quailty VCD?

Thanks

Chris

This trick sometimes works, but best option is to make a proper VCD.

In TMPGEnc MPEG Tools section, de-multiplex the SVCD's MPG file and then Multiplec back but as a VCD, not SVCD. Burn out with Nero as a non-compliant VCD. Sometimes works. If not, just re-encode to VCD proper, read the Tutorial.
