SVCD Question

Hi there
I am new at this. I have a question ,is there a program that will tell me how large a mpeg2 file that will fit on cd before you encode it?

About 806,000 Kb (as listed by Explorer) will fit to a 80min CDR. The best is to try and burn it, the burning program will spit it out if its to big.
