SVCD Encoding with Nero.

K now I've installed the latest version of Nero 5.5.8.0. that is and whenever I try to burn a video clip which is about 40 megz big and 5 minutes long it encodes first into SVCD format but the whole procedure takes ages!! I mean I aint got a fast computer but is there anyway I could speed it up a bit?

not sure about the time your Nero is taking, but you should never encode with Nero lol, just use it to burn your SVCDs. Use TMPGEnc to encode to SVCD & then use Nero to burn it. You will get much better results (quality wise).

This is no joke!!!!!!!!!

Nero is much faster then others(but quality s...s)for real encod. follow phantom`s advice!!!!And be ready for much more time!!!

What form is the Video clip in, is it an AVI (DivX) or MPEG or what ? Is its pic quality very good? If not then just encode to VCD, encoding to SVCD will not make it any better.
