I'm now running SuSe 8.2 on a test box,the problem is the bootloader. At the install I opt to install the bootloader on a floppy (the rest of the family can't cope with linux ! ) after the install I reboot and remove the floppy......but...all I get is a flashing cursor,no XP
After a few hours and a lot of playing around with the bootloader options I found the fault........I think. After the reboot SuSe makes the extended partition active,so using FDISK I returned the first partition to be active. All's working O.K for now,
Did I do something wrong on the install or is this a fault with SuSe
Apart from this it's not bad
