Instead of wasting time posting here, you could have answered some of Chickenman's questions over
here then maybe you would get an answer, because I am still not sure what you are trying to do...
You want to find a subtitle file online for a DVD that you have that does not currently include subtitles in a particular language, add it and then re-author as a DVD for playback on a standalone? Is that it?
